Central College Christian School Preschool is helping young children develop a feeling of self-confidence so that they can have freedom to be curious and creative, to experiment, to touch and to learn. It is also our goal for the children to develop skills, attitudes and habits which will help set a firm foundation for experiences in future years.

The following forms are necessary only for children with allergies, medical conditions, special medications, etc.
Daily Schedule
Our traditional Part-Day Program consists of a 2½ hour class session. From 9:00-11:30am or 12:30-3:00 pm. The Full-Day program hours are 7:30 am-5:30 pm, Monday-Friday. Peanut and Tree nut free lunches will need to be brought from home for Full-Day children. Milk or water will be provided. There will be a scheduled nap or rest time each day
Each day provides opportunities for: dramatic play, creative art, block play, music, science, math, language and literacy activities, snack, socialization and problem solving opportunities. Each class will participate in a gym class called “Muscles” and a Spanish class weekly. Classes will also participate in field trips throughout the year to enrich their classroom experience. There will be visitors at preschool such as a Dentist, Goldfish Swim Safety, Fire fighters and Police officers that will enhance our curriculum as well.
Facilities
The health and safety are of primary concern in planning our program. Our classrooms are designed with the child in mind. The equipment is all at the child’s level. There are fully equipped classrooms, indoor large muscle area, full sized gym, and an outdoor fenced playground. Exterior and classroom doors are kept locked for security purposes.
Child-to-Teacher Ratios
Class size is limited to 12 two and one half year olds, 16 three year olds an 18 four or five year olds. Each class has two teachers. Our child to teacher ratios are:
2 ½ year olds-6:1
3 year olds-8:1
4 & 5 year olds-9:1
Because we desire to offer a higher level of quality programming for young children, our ratios are lower than what is allowed by the state. Central College Preschool is operated under The Ohio Department of Education (ODE).
