Admission

The admission process for 2012-2013 includes six steps to help determine if CCCA is a good fit for your child:

1. Schedule a private tour with our Principal, Wendy Orlandi.

2. After visiting our school, begin the admission process by completing and submitting an Application for Admission. A completed School Record Release Form, a signed Statement of Family Commitment and a $50 screening fee should be included with your Application submission to CCCA. On time applications are due by February 29th, 2012 in order to be considered for the first round of admission decisions (which will occur in mid-March).

3. After you submit your application, your prospective Kindergarten student will be scheduled for a Readiness Screening. If your child is applying to grades 1-5, he or she will be scheduled to participate in a Shadow Day in his or her current grade and an academic screening.

4. Parents will be interviewed by the Principal and an Elder, Pastor or Board Member while your Kindergarten child is in the screening process. If your child is applying to grades 1-5, parents will be scheduled for an interview before your child’s Shadow Day. The interview process will consist of several questions designed to determine if your family and CCCA are a good fit.

5. After receiving your completed School Record Release Form, we will contact your child’s current school to request school records and the completion of a Teacher Recommendation Form.

6. The Admission Committee will review your child’s file in mid-March 2012 after all steps of the process are completed. We’ll notify you of your child’s enrollment status for 2012-13 before the end of March. If you’re interested in transferring your child to CCCA during the current school year, we welcome your child’s application. Please contact the Academy to determine availability.

Fees

Onetime fee for individually screening a child before qualifying for entrance to CCCA: $50.00
Enrollment fee per student (non-refundable) due at time of acceptance: $225.00

General Tuition

Kindergarten: $5,100.00
1st Grade through 5th Grade: $4,600.00
Annual per child reduction for families beyond one child enrolled at CCCA $460.00

Central College Presbyterian Church Member Tuition

Kindergarten: $5,000.00
1st Grade through 5th Grade: $4,500.00
Annual per child reduction for families beyond one child enrolled at CCCA $450.00
